Public Speaking

Public speaking is a very important part of our school curriculum as we have found out that it not only gives our children the needed confidence to speak in front of an audience in a confident and articulate manner but it also teaches them how to capture and hold the attention of their audience.

The children are encouraged to read aloud, write and recite poetry, make oral presentation and refine their acting and drama skills. These skills are further enhanced in the 4th year. Every child from Nursery Two through to Grade Six is allowed to speak at assembly on Tuesday and Thursday on a chosen topic.
