Chess is not New.It has fascinated people for hundreds of years and some very great people have been chess players including Emperor Napoleon.We are not sure were chess was invented,but it is now widely believed that it started from India about sixth century AD
At the King’s School, the children are taught how to play the game of chess, because we found out that it helps them to focus, visualize, think ahead and weigh options. We are devoted to extending the role of chess in Nigeria, and promoting the study and knowledge of the game.
